It felt competitive all the way through but it was really frustrating to see the Mince give away so many balls in the midfield. I thought the Tatties played the game very well - all five men behind the ball in the last third of the pitch leaving us no room to move the ball about. Mind you, we did seen determined to try and walk the ball into the net rather than take a shot. The Tatties would then break at pace with Scott and Si and that's where most of their goals game from with Jon and Alan controlling the back while Foxy danced around the place.
Next week Martie might be out but everyone else should be around so keep a wary eye out for the mythical Hat of Doooom.
Neil's not well, Andy's going to another St Mirren game and Kyle has again volunteered to not play, so no Hat of Doom this week.
Update - Ross picked up a slight injury from his Monday night game so Paul is going to replace him.
Thanks to Steve for "sorting" the teams & the cash and Kyle for updating the website. Normal service will be resumed next week.
Should be a full squad next week so (and I know I say this every week) there may be a Hat of Doom.

No hat again guys. Scott and I are out and if Steve stays injury free, Kyle will drop out as he fancies a rest. If Steve breaks himself again, Kyle will play. Have a good game and see you all next week.

I wonder what would have happened if the Mince had played the way they did in the second half for the full hour? It certainly would have been a much closer contest.
I good début from Michael I thought. The good news is that he's up for playing again so that's another "official" reserve to add to the pile.
Next week Scott is away with work and I'm not available either so depending on Martie's work and Steve's injury, there may or may not be a Hat of Doom. If anyone else can't play, please let me know.
Unfortunately Robert was involved in a car accident last night so won't be able to play for a few weeks. I'm sure we all wish him the best for a speedy recovery and are also sure that Karma isn't getting him back for pocketing the Killer money last year ;)
That left us a man short with all the usual reserves unable to play but luckily, I remembered that one of my friends' regular game has stopped due to lack of interest and he said he'd be happy to fill in for us now and again. So, gents, I give you Michael, AKA, Chachi (he's the one on the right):
Mike says that he's a defensive midfielder (think Michael Carrick), a 6/10 for fitness and skill wise, can take and give a pass without tripping over his own feet and hopes to be able to hold his own. I haven't seen him play for years but based on the info I have, I reckon he's probably much the same as myself but I've put him in my team so he knows someone.
Neil's still recovering from some lurgie, Si and Martie are working so no Hat of Doom this week either!
In further news, Chocolate Steve's ankle has gone again and Andy's going to watch the St. Mirren vs Rangers game so Paul and Robert make up the ten.

I'm in London Thursday so this post it coming to you sort of from the past (I wrote it before the game but it wasn't published until after it). I hope last night went well and I hope it was close but that my team just won in the end.
Next week Foxy, Martie and Si should be back so we may have a full squad again. That means the threat of the Hat of Doom continues. As always, if anyone can't play or fancies a week of for what ever reason, then please let me know ASAP.
