"What the heck's going on Iain?"

Now now children, I shall explain all. This week started out bad due to the fact that Foxy was on holiday and Karl was away for work. Donny had said he'd play but then decided better of it yesterday. Emails were sent, questions were asked but it turned out that William and Tamba were unable to play. At this point Steven was also unavailable and things were looking bleak! A few phone calls later and through Martie and Gordo we were up to ten with Brian and Graeme, both of who have played before.
A big sigh of relief came from myself until this morning when Neil emailed to say he was feeling ill and wouldn't be available - pish, as Foxy would say. Steven had made a late claim for a place yesterday only to have them all filled so I quickly dived back through to Steven's room to tell him he could play. Steven had the look of a dead man walking as he envisaged the dreaded phone call to the missus to tell her that he might be a bit late for her dad's birthday dinner but he agreed to play.
And then there were 10 - until Si called to also say that he was under the weather too! Emails off to the SEPA duo of Scott and David but neither could play. I even asked Ponto but he is stuck in Dundee for the rest of the day. I even asked the boys in the distribution centre who we've played a few against times but no joy there either.
So, how it currently stands is that we have ten as Si says he'll play despite feeling terrible. I have sent a message off to one other friend but he's a teacher so not sure when he'll actually get the message. We also have a new developer starting in the office today. He used to work with us when he was a student last year and does/did play football quite regularly. He only arrived in Glasgow today so no idea what kit he has with him but he might be willing to play so maybe between us we could cobble some kind of gear for him.
As soon as I know anything else, I'll let you guys know. There's always the chance we could pick up a random player when we're up there so Si doesn't have to play. I'd bring many different colours of tops as we may just end sorting the whole thing out when we get there when we see how many we actually have.
If anyone knows anyone else who wants a game then please let me know!
UPDATE - Kyle, the new guy in the office, is going to play so thanks very much to him! No idea what he's like so I reckon we'll just sort teams pitchside. See you all there!
