Short but sweet

Sorry to those who were unaware of the shortened game last night. It was the only way I could get 10 players - promising them they could get home in time to watch the Champions League final. Anyway, the Tatties were lucky it finished when it did as the Mincers were well on their way so making it into a cricket score ;)
Not a bad comeback thought. When I first picked the teams, I tried to offset the "Stevie Effect" - no offence to any of the Mince players of course. By the time I got to the pitch, I was convinced that we were on for a pumping and right form the off, the Tatties took control (with a couple of OGs from us to help them along). I think it was 6-1 to the Tatties at one point but after some tight marking and good defence we stopped them scoring and managed to get a couple back until it was 8-8. There were only 2 minutes left of the shortened clock which was just enough for us (i.e. Stevie) to pinch the win. A good, close game which I very much enjoyed - thanks to all for playing and I hope you all made it home in time to see the CL game.
Next week Foxy is still baby sitting and Neil is off to the opera (oooooooh) but we should see the return of Stuart, Jon (maybe) and Kylie.
You may have missed it but last week's MOTM was shared between Brad and Jon.
The stats have finally been updated after my holiday.
